The Giant Carpet Anemone can reach over a foot in diameter, with short, tightly packed tentacles in colors ranging from green and purple to blue. It is an extremely effective predator capable of stinging and consuming small fish, invertebrates, and even careless hands. Very challenging to keep alive long-term, requiring pristine water, intense lighting, and a large, stable reef environment.
